MyWorkshopDesk is online software for car repair shops in Romania. It keeps quotes, appointments, parts, customers and their cars in one place, and sends invoices straight to Romania's e-Factura system. The idea is simple: less paperwork, more cars out the door.

What kind of shop it's for

MyWorkshopDesk is built for small and mid-sized shops: mechanical repairs, bodywork, paint, tyres or car wash. Everyone on the team has a role: owner, workshop manager, service advisor, mechanic, cashier, parts manager or accountant. Each one sees only what they need.

Work orders

The heart of the app is the work order. Cars sit on a drag-and-drop board, by stage, and mechanics get their own board and a mode designed for the workshop floor. On a work order you add findings from inspection templates, photos, voice notes, documents and the customer's signature.

Customers approve the quote on their phone

Instead of the "we found something, should we replace it?" phone call, the customer gets a link. They see the quote, with photos, and approve or decline each line separately. You get written approval, and they understand what they're paying for.

Appointments, customers and cars

  • A calendar by bay and by mechanic, plus online booking for customers.
  • Customer and vehicle records, with VIN decoding.
  • Service plans by mileage or by months, with a warning when a service is overdue.
  • SMS and email reminders for servicing, roadworthiness tests (ITP) and car insurance (RCA), plus a call list.

Parts and stock

Missing parts from several work orders are grouped automatically into one order per supplier, so you don't make ten calls for ten parts.

Invoices, e-Factura and the cash register

  • e-Factura sent directly to ANAF's SPV, or through SmartBill or Oblio.
  • Payments, card payments and a daily report.
  • A small program on the front-desk PC prints the fiscal receipt and sends the card payment to the POS terminal. It works offline too, and syncs later.

Mechanics' time

Time tracking, time reports, labour cost and commission plans. You see how many hours were actually worked on each car, and by whom.

An AI assistant, if you want one

For those who want them, there are AI tools as paid add-ons, off by default: dictated findings that turn into quote lines, voice commands and a hands-free mode for the workshop, reading the registration certificate from a photo (plate, VIN, model), a diagnostic assistant and plain-language quote explanations for customers. Nothing is saved without your confirmation.

Your data

Data is hosted in the European Union with daily backups, and each shop's data is kept separate from everyone else's. You can import customers and vehicles from Excel and export your data.
